• Thinks trip will not go well; but he wants to get away from Washington

• The woman recognizes the poet, but not the candidate
• human body is like  machine (clock)
• public health would improve if we changed our eating habbits
• everysecond a rainforst in brazil is destroyed
• "Everything is connected to everything else"  She thinks we need to start by changing the way we look at the world.  She thinks that instead of focusing on solving each little problem we need to change the way we look at the world and everything will stem off of this.  She says the crisis in the world is perception
• the room represents the crisis of perception
• the modern world allows man to dominate all
• she thinks that men have created the tools and machines to change the view of the world.  She thinks the women suffer because of the men's actions 
• everyday she takes a walk regardless of the weather and tries to understand the world
• she explains atoms that create light, and equations that create the ripples in the water
•  the essence of the cord lies in relationships
• relationships make music
• people give knowledge away without thinking about the consequences.  Scientists have the power to create bombs that can kill and destroy
• to get the specifics you have to take it apart and look at it in pieces
• if the root dies the fungus dies; so many relationships depend on each other in life.  Relationships are the essence of all living things.  A web of relationships is a scientific fact of dependency 
• self transcending is a part of life.  They reach out and create new forms.  Creativity is a basic element of evolution
• give importance to the next generations.  when we forget about them, we dvelop things that are poisonous to all living things
• knowledge is not power, we cannot diminish the possibilities of the next generation
• can life really be condensed into systems?
